She wants me I know it
she's been pursuing me this long,
I'm going to let her catch me
and then just go along.
A classic reversal of roles
I'll play coy and innocent,
see how she wants to do it
then finally I'll relent.
I just had to let her catch me
after the display that she put on,
there in public for all to see
she wouldn't be put off for long.
A tawdry little spectacle
her ardor burned so hot,
this lady that's been after me
is the local traffic cop!
