Answer the Call

To appreciate just what you have
let your heart flow wide,
plumb its depths and set it free
let it be your guide.

Follow the feelings of fullness
embrace the joy and begin to see;
your heart leads you to others
escaping the selfish me.

For me is a prison of misery
in there it is cramped and tight,
people so enclosed can't find
God's great liberating light.

Your heart can take you far and wide
away from yourself, the best place of all.
Feel the wind against your face
as you joyfully answer the call.
